Filling the gap for a better return on IT investment
In 2001 the founders of iPLATINUM saw a gap in the market in the form of an opportunity to help councils manage their investment in and return from information technology – more effectively and without significant cost increases.
It is testimony to the team’s vision that the company has grown organically since then, introducing new products in line with the evolution of technology and new services as customer needs have evolved. Since inception iPLATINUM has worked with about 100 councils across Australia to address these outcomes.
iPLATINUM marked its entry to the New Zealand local government sector in 2008 with a project to archive historical systems when Horowhenua Council on the North Island moved to Civica’s Authority solution. The project included archiving the Pathway , Finance One and Payglobal applications.
iPLATINUM is an Australian company focused solely on Local Government and our products and services are designed to increase the effectiveness of councils current software applications.
iPLATINUM has been servicing the needs of local councils since 2001 and during this time circa 100 councils throughout Australia and New Zealand have benefited from iPLATINUMs’ extensive expertise through a range of services including System Reviews, Project Management, IT Strategic Planning, Data Cleansing and Migration, System Design and Specification, System Procurement, Market Reviews, System Implementations and now Reform Planning and assistance.
iPLATINUM products complement the services offering with our flagship solution, iFerret now widely accepted in Australian Councils. iFerret is an enterprise search product developed by iPLATINUM that works like “google” over your corporate information. iFerret enables you to find information, including scanned data, that may exist in a variety of corporate repositories and email systems and shared drives.
iArchive works on the same principles as iFerret but addresses access to historical data. Our iArchive solution enables councils to decommission redundant legacy systems but still maintain quick and easy access to the underlying information.
The iPLATINUM focus is on assisting councils to gain maximum return from their investment in corporate IT solutions.
